These are our current reopening approaches and the first steps to welcome you back to Second Wind. We want you to feel safe and comfortable during your spa visit while keeping your well-being a top consideration with every decision.
- The night before your appointment you will receive a link to complete your Spa Service Covid-19 Pre- Screen release form. Please have the completed form emailed back to us on the morning of your appointment to expedite your check-in. If you would like to pre-pay for your appointment including gratuity, please let the desk coordinator when confirming the appointment. Masks are required during your appointment for both you and the service provider. If you do not wear a mask, we will not be able to perform your service.
- No guests, friends, or children allowed at your appointment. No exceptions! Upon arriving at Second Wind, call the spa, letting them know you have arrived. Please STAY in your car until we have confirmed that your appointment is ready to start. This process will help us with keeping social distancing so that you encounter the least amount of people during your visit.
- Please do not bring in any outside food or beverage into the spa. We will honor same-day cancellations up to 3 hours prior to your appointment. Anything less than that will result in a service fee of the scheduled service.
- Your temperature will be taken before the appointment with a touch-free forehead thermometer. Please stay home if you are coughing, having trouble breathing, or have a fever of 100.4 degrees. We will happily reschedule you for a future visit. Our staff will also be checked at the start of each shift.
As a licensed day spa establishment in the state of California, for all our licensed Massage therapists, and estheticians, we are required to adhere to all guidelines set forth by the State of California, the County of Los Angeles as well as the City of Palmdale.
The standard for cleanliness and sanitation has always been the top priority at Second Wind to ensure client and staff safety. We have increased the frequency and stringency of our cleaning protocols both in-room and in our common spaces using a medical-grade cleaning solution that kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. Hand sanitizer is available at our front counter and in each treatment room. Beverages and snacks will not be available for the time being. We will continue to refine and fine-tune our protocols and procedures as we learn more. We appreciate your patience as you and our team enter a new journey together.
